These restaurants are split into three categories:

Branded restaurants
Restaurants in hotels
Independent restaurants

Restaurants can also be selected by the type of cuisine served.

Information is also available on how many covers a restaurant can serve, although this information is hard to verify - multiple sittings, % occupancy, outside functions etc.

Restaurant bars

Deciding whether a restaurant is wet-led or food-led is also hard to verify. The vast majority of bars serve food, but where their focus is on "late night activities", we brand the establishment as a bar not restaurant.

Recommendation: When actioning a campaign to restaurants, include bars in any count.
