Pubs with rooms to let
Over 6,000 pubs have rooms that they let to the public. This number is increasing as pubs look for alternative ways to generate revenue. Many are converting original staff accommodation into letting rooms.
Where possible, the database includes the number of rooms per pub.
Where the number of rooms exceeds 20, we ask the pub whether they define themselves as a pub with letting rooms or a hotel. If there is no repsonse we default to pub with rooms to let.
From the records we hold, the average number of letting rooms per pub is approx 5, so at least 30,000 letting rooms are available across the UK!
