Breweries and vineyards

** a brew-pub is a pub that brews beer on the premises.

The major pub owning brewers in the UK are Scottish & Newcastle, Greene King and Marstons. Between them they own over 6,500 pubs.

There are 27 members of the Independent Family Brewers of Britain (IFBB), which between them own over 7,000 pubs.
